Places Worth Seeing
From the ruins of ancient civilizations to tropical beaches thousands of miles away from home, it is evident that the world is full of beautiful places. Unforunately, many of us don't have the good fortune of being able to see them all in our lifetimes. Between the demands of busy lives and the restrictions of money, time, and distance, on the rare occasion that we get to branch out and journey far from home, we have to be selective about where we go. So, here, in this little corner of the Internet, I hope to share with you a bit about my favorite place in the world, and perhaps inspire you to consider making the trip there yourself someday.

My Story
One of my greatest values in life is travel. Whenever asked about my happiest memories, my mind immediately jumps to those made on vacations. The top item on my bucket list is to study abroad. I believe that traveling helps us widen our perspective of the world, and has given me a greater understanding of my place within it. I've been fortunate enough to see many beautiful places throughout my life, but my favorite is undoubtedly France. I've visited twice, and it is my hope that I will be able to study abroad there in the near future.
Reasons France is Worth Visitng
- Food: From cheese and wine to eggs or escargot, the food in France is second to none (especially if you're coming from the United States)
- Fashion: Not only is France the origin of many major designer brands like Dior and Chanel, but many residents use the streets as their runway, sporting stunning styles day to day
- Beaches: When people think of France, their minds jump straight to Paris, which, of course, is worth visiting, but France is also home to some of the most beautiful coasts in Europe
- Architecture: In both the cities and countryside, stunning Gothic and Roman architecture are featured throughout the nation
- History: France is a country with a long and rich history which can be seen amidst various musuems and landmarks throughout the nation
