Yarbrough Crisis Communication Fellow
August 2023 – Present
Each year, two Grady College of Mass Communication and Journalism students are selected to serve as Yarbrough Crisis Communication Fellows. These students act as key members of the Crisis Communication Think Tank (CCTT) leadership team. The CCTT facilitates connections between communications scholars and practitioners and leads conversations about emerging topics in crisis communication. Although the CCTT traditionally takes on fourth-year students to fill this role, I have been fortunate enough to get involved as a third-year student.
Responsibilities
- Plan for the 2024 Crisis Communication Think Tank Conference
- Expand CCTT influence on a global scale, analyze global trends in communication and connect with members of the Crisis Communication Coalition from over 23 countries
- Develop and post social media content to promote the CCTT on various platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn
- Serve as international representative of the CCTT leadership team in England
